Benefits of Membership
- Stay informed with up-to-the minute information affecting our industry. We hold monthly membership meetings with speakers on varied topics such as equity and bond markets, funding opportunities with federal home loan banks, construction costs and delays, and real estate tax appeals. Meetings are held virtually to allow for maximum participation and a recording of the presentation is provided to all members.
Be heard through our legislative efforts and help us shape the future of our industry. We provide developers and housing partners a powerful collective voice in Harrisburg and Washington, D.C. Our partnership with Capitol Strategies has been instrumental in the passage of the Pennsylvania Housing Tax Credit with $10 million in FY 2021-2022 funding and passage of the Development Cost Relief Program with $50 million in FY 2021-2022 and $150 million in FY 2022-2023 funding to address the impacts of supply chain disruptions in the affordable housing industry.
- Help shape the future of the affordable housing industry. We continue to nurture partnerships with governmental agencies on the state and national levels, including the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, to create a cohesive future for our industry.
